The Yerramilli Trust is a charitable organization that reaches and assists the poor and needy,. We focus in the areas of · Education, Medical Treatment , Marriage of a Girl Chiild, Narayana Seva (Anna Danam) and Support of the under privileged.
Annually the Yerramilli Trust and its members engage Seva and Charitable Activities.
Traditional events like Devuni Kalyanam, Services to the needy, social upliftment are activites engaged in by various local residents and the Trustees in Vontimamidi.

The Yerramilli Family originally were based in Pasarlapudi Lanka in Konaseema of River Godavari Delta two centuries ago.
Yerramalli Venkatachalam garu the forefather of YERRAMILLIS, migrated to Vontimamidi from Pasarlapudi Lanka in the first quarter of year 1800 . He was endowed with great knowledge on Vedas and Upanishads, was gifted vast area of land in and around Vontimamidi by the Zamindars of Pithapuram with a request to settle in the Village and propagate the Vedic culture. That is how the Vontimamidi Agraharam came into being.

ABOUT VONTIMAMIDI
Vontimamidi is a small hamlet in the Godavari District in erstwhile Madras Presidency during the British rule. The district was later divided by British Government into East and West Godavari districts in the Year 1925 for adminstration convenience with Kakinada as district Headquarters.
Vontimamidi village is in the Tuni taluk in the East Godavari District. Traditionally under the Zamindars of Pithapuram Estate, and later after reorganization, the village currently is under the Jurisdiction of Thondangi Mandalam.
The population in the village at one time was mainly ,Brahmin, Yadav , Kapu and Fishermen communities.
Over time most of the Brahmin families migrated to towns and cities.
The village is connected to Annavaram, the abode of Lord Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy and Ananta Laxmi Satyavati Devi temple on NH 16. It is the second richest Temple in Andhra Pradesh after Tirumala Sree vaaru.

The Shiva Lingam at the temple in Vontimamidi is believed to be Swayambhu and estimated by Archaeologists of the Chola Period.
This ancient Shiva Temple which was under ruins in the sand dunes was found by the Forefather of Yerramilli family Late Venkatachalam, who migrated to Vontimamidi from Pasarlapudi lanka in Konaseema area in the mid nineteenth century.
It was renovated by Ancestors of Yerramilli family in 1800's and land measuring about 27 acres was gifted to the Lord for the maintenance and daily rituals of Dhoopa Deepa Naivedyam .
It was a Family temple of Yerramillis from mid nineteenth century till early twenty first century . Thereafter , It was taken over by the Endowment Department of Govt of Andhra Pradesh .
Lord Visveswara Swamy and Goddess Sree Rajarajeswari ammavaru , are the main deities at this temple. It is believed that the deities shower blessings and boons to the village and devotees in abundance and grant their prayers and wishes.

Yerramlli Trust was formed for the engagement in Charitable Activities. on the 27th Nov 1997, at Rajahmundry by Yerramilli Jagatpati S/o Ramachandra Rao and Yerramilli Jagannadha Rao S/o Venkateswarlu (Founder Trustees).
The Trust is registered with the District Registrar office Rajahmundry, with its Headquarters in Rajahmundry, AP India.
The main objective of the Trust is Charity and provide financial support to the poor and needy and deserving, irrespective of caste , creed without any discrimination.
Management and Administration of the Trust is done by a Trust Board. which include the Trust members , Secretary and the Chairman.

Trust Board's Purpose
The Yerramilli Trust Board is ultimately responsible for the operations of the organization, interfacing between its members, Yerramilli family at large, and other donors and supporters of the Trust organization and the community providing - FORESIGHT, OVERSIGHT & INSIGHT.
Key Objectives of the Board
1. Fulfill the Mission of the Trust
2. Make sure the Trust meets its regulatory responsibilities and files appropriate paperwork with government agencies.
3. Board is responsible for ensuring that Trust goals are met execute the plans as shared with the public, donors, and beneficiaries.
The Trust , its Board and its Associate Members strive to:
A. Successfully, deliver the Events / Aid Services and annual Devuni Kalyanam
B. Be Ambassadors of the Trust and seek to grow its Services actively.
C. Follow the law, and the trust operating Guidelines issues by the Local/ State and Central Govt.
D. The Events should be sensitive to the Community needs in the defined Trust Areas of Focus - with direct plans that impact the local community/ and nearby villages.
E. Undertake new initiatives, grow membership, and enhance the Trust Operations financially, and as a Service to the deserving.
Founder Trustees
The Founder Trustees during their lifetime form the core guidance, and play the role of mission beacons of the Trust.
Chairman
The Chairman is responsible for direct engagement, operations of the Trust in Liaison with the Secretary and other Board Members.
Secretary & Business Development Committee
The Board Secretary in liaison with the Board Members is responsible for recruiting new trust members, and grow the Services/ activities of the Trust. In addition, the Secretary along with the Nominated Bank signatory, are responsible, for ensuring that the - Funds are made available - to the Nominated Member Trustee for the Events in execution.
Event Coordinators - Charity & Devuni Kalyanam
The Trust has assigned Board Members who lead the Operations and functions during these events and activities. Events Planned and executed under the banner of Yerramilli Trust .
Financial Committee
The Financial Committee, is responsible for the governance, and ensuring the Board members follow the laid guidelines for the accounting and legal operations. Budgets are prepared by the responsible Members before the Events/ Programs and Services. Compare costs, and plans are to be in line with the budgets .
Associate Members of the Trust
Associate Members are integral to the mission and are encouraged to support the Board in executing their responsibility and to contribute to the best of their ability.
